Training Opportunities

The Office of Admission wants all volunteers to feel completely prepared to speak with prospective students about what Richmond has to offer. As such, we provide a variety of training opportunities for you to stay informed and learn as much as possible about the University and the admission processes and goals. Training options include:

  • Navigating the College Admission Process - A workshop for alumni, faculty, staff, and their high school-age children to clarify the college admission process. Held during Reunion Weekend in June.
  • ARC Training during Richmond Leadership Summit - This workshop for ARC members occurs in conjunction with the Richmond Leadership Summit, a conference for volunteers affiliated with the University held during Homecoming Weekend.
  • Watch the college fair video tutorial or alumni interview how-to video to get tips and learn what to expect.
  • If you are interested in becoming an alumni interviewer, you must complete the online training tutorial. Please contact us for details.
