College Alma Mater: Trinity University (Texas), major in History with minors in Anthropology and Environmental Studies

Favorite Richmond neighborhood: The West End. I admit that there are other neighborhoods that I might actually like more, but the West End now has a Whole Foods and a Trader Joe’s and I love food—need I say more?

Favorite spot on campus: The gazebo on the lake; it is a wonderful place to have some quiet time if you need to get away for a bit.

Favorite food on campus: Jersey Dirt! This is a new dessert I was introduced to the first time I ate at the Heilman Dinning Center and it is fantastic; think thick pudding with tons of crushed Oreos in it.

Favorite restaurant off-campus: Mexico; it is affordable, close to campus, and after living in SW Texas for 8 years I have cravings for Tex-Mex and Mexican food all the time.

The number one reason you tell students to check out Richmond: The access to experiential learning opportunities that Richmond gives all of its undergraduate students is outstanding and really incomparable.
