How what you studied connects with your career: I’ve always enjoyed studying languages and cultures, so interacting with individuals from around the world is a natural extension of this.

How you started in admission and came to Richmond: As an undergraduate, I worked in the admission office in some capacity every year. I loved learning about the various facets of admissions and interacting with new people all the time; and the rest, as they say, is history! What drew me to Richmond was the excellent reputation of the University and city, and the desire to help students understand the intersection of so many amazing opportunities here.

A memorable recruitment story: While traveling in China with a group of American guidance counselors, we happened to run into one of the counselor’s students while exploring a portion of the Great Wall. It was an amazing coincidence and proof that it really is a small world!

Hobbies/Interests: Traveling, reading, playing tennis, and spending time with friends
