Transfer Applicants

Students applying to transfer to the University of Richmond may apply either by using the transfer application below or by completing the Common Application and University of Richmond Common Application Supplement.

Transfer Application
This booklet contains transfer admission information, the transfer application form, the secondary school report form and the college transcript(s) request form.

Financial Aid
Transfer students who want to apply for need-based financial aid and/or educational loans will need to complete BOTH the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) AND the University of Richmond Financial Aid Supplemental Application. Students applying as a transfer for Spring 2008 should complete the 2007-08 Supplemental Application; students applying as a transfer for Fall 2008 should complete the 2008-09 Supplemental Application.

Virginia residents enrolled full-time in a degree program at a private college or university in Virginia are eligible to apply for the Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant. The application must be submitted to the school you will attend by the July 31, 2008 deadline. In 2007-08, this grant amounts to $3,200.

Application Fee
The Application Fee is $50 and may be paid either by credit card at the time an online application is submitted or by check with a paper application or following submission of an online application. If you believe you may qualify for an application fee waiver, please forward a statement from your current college financial aid office.
