Merit-based Scholarship Information
Only first-year candidates are eligible to compete for academic scholarships. Non-U.S. citizens are eligible to apply for all available scholarship programs except Army ROTC and National Merit Scholarships. Students may apply for more than one program if they wish. Please be aware that students must submit the results of the SAT (or the ACT) as well as the TOEFL (if English is not the native language) to be considered for scholarship funds.

Transfer Applicants: Unfortunately international transfer students are not eligible for merit-based scholarships. Preference for our limited need-based financial aid is given to first-year applicants, however in some cases, we have been able to assist some transfer applicants. Follow the procedures above to apply.

Student Employment Opportunities
Many students inquire about the possibility of work on campus. Students can expect to work at any office on campus that employs student workers. Such offices include academic departments, the libraries, dining services and many others. Campus employment can provide students with a small amount of spending money. Students cannot expect to earn enough to support their tuition, room and board charges with campus employment. Except under extreme financial circumstances, individuals holding student visas are prohibited by immigration law from holding jobs outside the University.
