Life at Richmond: Religious Life
What do you consider truth? At Richmond, you'll have many opportunities to explore your own religious beliefs and values and meet students representing world faiths as diverse as Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism. We place emphasis on the development of the whole person for people of all faiths and people of none.
Through active denominational and interdenominational organizations, you can participate in study groups, social events, interfaith dialogue and weekly campus worship opportunities in Cannon Memorial Chapel. In addition, there is an active Hillel chapter and the Richmond Jewish Community Center is within close driving distance of campus.
The University Chaplaincy encourages and supports student, faculty and staff commitments to ethical and religious values and helps facilitate spiritual growth and intellectual development of the whole person regardless of one's beliefs.
