Informational Interviews

The University of Richmond offers on-campus informational interviews to current and rising high school seniors by appointment or walk-in from June to early December with time slots both before and after our information sessions and tours (Monday-Friday only). Informational interviews are conducted by senior admission fellows (current Richmond seniors) and are non-evaluative in the admission application process. Simply put, they are a great opportunity for you to learn more about the University from a current student – your best resource for information.

Informational interview slots are limited, so students are encouraged to register early. Please do not be discouraged if you are unable to schedule an individual interview, since neither the group information session nor individual informational interview bear any weight in the admission process.  You may schedule an on-campus informational interview by calling the Office of Admission at (804) 289-8640 prior to your arrival on campus.

If you are unable to participate in an on-campus informational interview, you may be able to meet with an alumnus in your hometown. The University of Richmond offers alumni informational interviews in select cities.
