Informational Interviews

The University of Richmond offers on-campus informational interviews to current high school seniors and rising seniors by appointment from June to early December with time slots both before and after our information sessions and tours (Monday–Friday only). These informational interviews, in conjunction with our campus visits, are conducted by senior interns or admission fellows and are considered non-evaluative in the sense that there is no formal assessment made to affect your admission application. They are, however, great opportunities for us to learn more about interested students and for them to learn more about the University.

Informational interviews are not required for admission consideration, but time slots are limited, so students are encouraged to register early. To check availability or to schedule an on-campus informational interview in conjunction with your campus visit, please call the Office of Admission at (800) 700-1662. If an interview is not available during your visit, please rest assured that members of our staff will be available to answer your questions fully.

If you are unable to participate in an on-campus informational interview, you may be able to meet with an alumnus in your hometown. The University of Richmond offers alumni informational interviews in select cities.
