On one of my visits to UR, I was visiting classes and was supposed to walk back from class to the admissions building by myself to meet my parents. I got so lost and actually started crying because I was so scared and nervous, until a student approached me and walked me back to the admissions office herself. To this day, I admire her ability to reach out to a stranger and help them find their way, and I knew from then on that Richmond was the place I wanted to be!

Richmond does more than make that possible, but rather, encourages all students regardless of your major to go abroad, and puts a lot of time into helping you find the perfect program for all your needs and desires.

The students also approached me with open arms and were more than willing to assist me with anything that I needed. From the gorgeous surroundings to the engaging classes, Richmond has become a new home for me that I don't want to leave.

I ended up applying ED to Richmond (best decision of my life!), and it has not only met, but exceeded all of my expectations. I truly would not want to go anywhere else!

I had never visited UR prior to applying, so I had no idea what to think going into my Scholars visit. I was immediately blown away by how beautiful the campus was, and also by how invested in the community every professor and student I met seemed to be. After bonding with few other students and talking to professors about potential research experiences, I was completely head-over-heels for this school and put my deposit down the next day.
