On-campus admission events have been cancelled to help ensure the health and safety of our visitors and campus community. Instead, please join us Monday-Friday for virtual information sessions. Each live information session will cover one of the following special topics: Admission & Aid, Academics, and Student Life. Starting on August 3, Admission & Aid sessions will be followed by an interactice virtual tour of campus hosted by current students. View our searchable calendar to see upcoming availability. Registration is required.

Spider Chats

Seniors/rising seniors
July to January

A Spider Chat is a one-on-one opportunity to virtually connect with a current Richmond student, share your interests, explore Richmond as a match for you, and learn more about the University from someone who knows it well. Spider Chats typically last 15-20 minutes, and are available to current and rising high school seniors by appointment from July to January. Slots are limited, so you are encouraged to sign up early.

In light of COVID-19, the August 22 and October 12 Preview Richmond events will be held virtually.

Preview Richmond events are open houses for prospective students and their families. The Office of Admission typically offers a Summer Preview for high school seniors and juniors; a Fall Preview for high school seniors, juniors, and sophomores; and a Spring Preview for high school juniors and sophomores. Designed to provide a thorough look at what makes the Richmond experience truly unique, Previews typically include a welcome from University administrators; sessions on admission and affordability; and panel discussions with current students, faculty, deans, staff, and admission officers on topics ranging from academics to student life to study abroad, community service, career development, research, and residential opportunities.
